The Precepts are the flesh,
blood and mind of Buddha.
The precepts are not rules of
conduct, but meditative
practices woven into our
practice of presence to guide
us in right action. The
four-month long course will
include twelve talks and
discussion groups with
Sensei Genki, rakusu sewing
sessions with a sewing
mentor, and will culminate in
the Jukai Ceremony when we
formally take our vows.
Jukai is available to all
HMCLZC members who have
not taken the vows. Please
